How hard is it to learn HTML?

by cooperspick » Sun Mar 13, 2011 9:19 pm

I wanted to start learning basic programming I know how to create sites in a blogspot or blogger platform as well as wordpress and obviously can use their content management systems as they are very user friendly for novices. Now I have a site that I am somewhat familar with that was built in .asp (cooperspick.com) and wanted to start learning programming so I can make changes and build more sites so after all of my rambling why question is.

How hard is it with somebody with my basic computer background to learn .html and to make/program sites in it?
How long should it take?
What are the biggest obstacles of html?

I already know the basic html tags. I have trouble with tables and iframes. Do you cover them?

Learning HTML is easy. I would suggest going on Google and do a search for html for beginners. You can also got to a site that you might like, right click an the website and when the menu opens click "View Source" and you will see the html source code of that website.

I've found that these days the best place to learn almost anything about building websites is to go to Youtube.com . I'm the kind of person that learns better watching a video rather than reading text.
